The next time you have aspirations to spend the evening of a full moon outside, join us at Rendezvous Park (R Park). Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, we are hosting a variety of events this spring, summer, and fall under the moonlit sky offering snowshoeing, biking, nocturnal wildlife walks, fly-fishing, and more. Wyoming Stargazing will join us with their giant Dobsonian Telescope that makes possible the viewing of the moon’s craters, planets, stars, nebulae, and galaxies!
Park’s history runs deep through the veins of the Jackson Hole community. Public input shaped the 40-acres to make it meaningful to the many vibrant and varying user groups and continues to do so. Results from our recent survey show that in addition to appreciating its natural surroundings, R Park visitors love attending its events. So mark your calendars for the following activities:
Park Director Elisabeth Rohrbach said, “Rendezvous Park hosted over 8,000 visits in 2016 alone. We welcome our visitors to return and encourage those who have yet to visit, to join us!”

- June 3 – Kids Fishing Day
- June 17 – St. John’s Hospital Foundation’s Shirley’s Heart Run
- June 20 – Summer Solstice Celebration
