People of all ages celebrate 2015’s Summer Solstice

BikesAs the longest day of the year, Summer Solstice marks the beginning of summer and is a cause for celebration all over the world.  R Park hosted hundreds of community members to enjoy the warm weather, cool pond, and breezy knoll.

Complete with music by The Minor Keys, food from the Aspen’s Market, refreshments from Snake River Brewing and Dust Cutter, lawn games from Teton County Parks and Recreation the evening was magical and will be an annual celebration.

R Park’s preliminary design renderings for the plaza, entrance kiosks, and other amenities were displayed by representatives from Pierson Lands Works and Gilday Architects PC.
