Be In-the-Know about nature, parks, & R Park

This generation of children may be the first in American history to live shorter, less healthy lives February 2015 eNews
than their parents. At the same time, nearly half of Americans get less than the recommended minimum amount of physical activity. People with access to nature exercise more and have better mental health, whether or not they even visit. Doctors are prescribing that their patients get a “healthy dose of nature,” by visiting local, neighborhood parks.

These realities are a great part of what inspired the creation of R Park. Each month we put together a monthly eNewsletter to share a great variety of information ranging from activities to enjoy in nature, recent studies and findings about health and parks, interesting information from our partners, R Park updates, videos and photos, and more.
